As a Brisbane family photographer, I believe the most meaningful photographs aren't created by asking children to sit still and smile at the camera. They're found in the giggles, cuddles, curiosity and connection that naturally unfold when your family spends time together.

My family photography sessions are relaxed, child-led and designed to capture your family just as you are.

Whether you're welcoming a new baby, chasing after an adventurous toddler or simply wanting to remember this season of life, I'd love to create images that tell your family's story.

The good news? They don't have to.

I don't expect children to perform or pose. Instead, I follow their lead. We play games, explore beautiful outdoor locations, cuddle, laugh and let little personalities shine.

Some children are energetic and adventurous. Others take a little longer to warm up. Every child is different, and that's exactly how it should be.

My role is to create a relaxed environment where everyone feels comfortable, so your family can simply enjoy being together while I document the genuine moments that often become your favourite photographs.

My sessions are perfect for families with babies and young children who want natural, authentic photographs rather than stiff, traditional portraits.

You won't be asked to:

  • Force smiles.

  • Stand in awkward poses.

  • Worry if your toddler runs off to explore.

  • Follow a strict dress code.

  • Spend hours in a studio.

Instead, we'll embrace the beautiful chaos that comes with family life.

  • That's completely normal, and it's exactly why my sessions are child-led.

    Children don't need to look at the camera the whole time for us to create beautiful photographs. Some of the most treasured images happen when they're exploring, laughing or sharing a quiet cuddle with Mum and Dad.

  • Most sessions take place outdoors around North Brisbane, the Moreton Bay region or the Sunshine Coast during the beautiful light around sunrise or sunset.

  • Every family is different, but sessions are relaxed and move at your child's pace rather than following a strict timetable.

    As a rough guide, my mini sessions run for about 20 minutes, and a full family session can go for about an hour.
